Subversive Biblical Literacy – Bible Basics

Join Rev. Tony Lorenzen for an unconventional walk through the Christian Bible. Using a variety of scholarly lenses, you’ll be given a new perspective on the Bible and its relevance and significance for Unitarian Universalism as well as liberal Christianity. If you wish to have a deeper understanding of the Bible rooted in liberal theology, if you have familiarity with the Bible but want to look at it through fresh eyes, if you would like to become familiar with this text that has so much relevance in the modern world, this is a class you will not want to miss!

This class is composed of three sections: Bible Basics will be taught in two 120 minute sessions, and Hebrew and Christian Scripture sections will each be taught in three 90-minute sessions You can sign up for a single session, two sessions, or get a discount when you sign up for all three at once.
