Stop acting so small. You are the Universe in ecstatic motion. —Rumi
Quest for Meaning is a program of the Church of the Larger Fellowship (CLF).
As a Unitarian Universalist congregation with no geographical boundary, the CLF creates global spiritual community, rooted in profound love, which cultivates wonder, imagination, and the courage to act.
OUR GROUP IS BARELY SURVIVING. LOTS OF OLD PEOPLE. LITTLE CONNECTION WITH OTHER UU GROUPS. WE ARE IN A CITY OF ABOUT 80,000 PEOPLE BUT DON’T HAVE AS MUCH TOLERANCE OR PHYSICAL ABILITY THAT IT TAKES TO CARRY OUT THE DUTIES NECESSARY TO THRIVE.. SOME PEOPLE DON’T HAVE RELIABLE INCOME AND ARE OLDER OR ARE IN POOR HEALTH..
HOUSED IN A RENTED SPACE AT SENIOR CENTER THAT IS BEING RESCUED BY THE CITY–SOON. MANY SMALL CITIES AROUND WHERE WE MIGHT GET NEW PEOPLE BUT OUR INTOLERANCE FOR CHILDREN INHIBITS GROWTH. NEXT WEEK, JUNE 25,2017 WE WILL TRY AGAIN TO SEE THE WAY FORWARD.–ANY IDEAS?
HOW DO I SEND THIS WITH PREVIOUS COMMENTS?
I am studying Diploma of Chaplaincy. This sounds like a very good church. I live in Hobart Tasmania, Australia. SO, I have discovered I am nowhere near a physical congregation. Hence my joining an on-line congregation
Blessed Be!
