THIS WEEK (February 28th) ON THE VUU – A Discussion About UMC with Rev. Dr. Pamela Lightsey #250
We chatted with Rev. Dr. Pamela Lightsey about The United Methodist Church’s decision to tighten their ban on same sex marriage.
Dr. Lightsey is a minister ordained by the UMC. “After ordination, she served as a United Methodist congregational pastor and then as a theological school educator, scholar and administrator. Throughout her vocational life, she has been a leading social justice activist, working with local, national and international organizations focusing primarily on the causes of peacemaking, racial justice and LGBTQ rights.” (From Meadville Lombard Theological School Website)
